Standing outside their classroom, they happily talked to each other after going at the bulletin board to see the list
“Oh my Gosh! Congratulations Baek Hyun-ah and Bong Goo-ah! “ Kil Pulip said as she shrieked and hugged both of them “Im so proud of you”
“Gumawoh (thanks) pulip-ah” Bong Goo replied
Baek Hyun stared into space for a moment “Why don’t I feel that happy at all?” He thought
“Baek Hyun-ah?” Chan Doo tapped him on his arm
“Huh? Er… Gumawoh Pulip-ah” he smiled
“Congrats man” Chan Doo said as he gave them their friendship shake.
“Gumawoh Chan Doo-ah” Bong Goo replied
Their favourite teacher approached them
“Ssaem Anyeong” The chorused
“Anyeong!” She greeted “I heard the news”
They all smiled wildly
“Congrats!” she said
“gamsahabnida” Baek Hyun said
“Are you guys ready for graduation?” She asked
“Ne! (Yes)” they chorused
“Im glad!” she laughed
Baek Hyun’s phone suddenly rings. “Yeboseyo?”
“baek Hyun-ah!” Na hyung Jung called
“Hyung Jung-na!?” His voice rose up, as soon as he said her name everybody stopped “Yeboseyo?” He yelled
Silence
“Yah Hyung Jung-na!”
“Congratualtions!” she said casually
But before he could answer, the other beeped
“Gumaw…” his face was filled in disappointment. He put the phone into his pocket
“What did she say?” Chan Doo asked
She just congratulated me” she replied
The disappointment was shown on their faces.
“Hyun-Jung-ah, where are you?” he thought
Their director was approaching, their English teacher had to bed her goodbye “Oopp, Duty calls, see yah later”
“Bye” they giggled
“er guys, do you wanna go to the karaoke bar?” Kil pulip suggested
Bong Goo and Chan Doo happily agreed but Baek Hyun.
“I can’t Halmeoni wants me to go to the market to buy vegetables for dinner”
Before anyone can say anything, he walked away already.
“ohh okay” Kil Pulip said “Let’s go?” she asked her companions
They went down their way
